SalvAide organizes and supports a variety of public engagement events to raise awareness about the struggle for greater social justice in El Salvador.  We also host fundraisers that help us continue our support for our partners' work on the ground.  For more information on events SalvAide organizes or supports, click on the links below.

There are many ways through which you can help SalvAide contribute to our partners’ work to attain social justice, democracy, and economic development.

Donate will allow us to send funding directly to our partners for their ongoing projects.

By becoming a donor, spreading the word about SalvAide's work, joining a delegation* you’ll have the opportunity to visit El Salvador and witness first hand the work of our partners. As a Donor or Volunteer for SalvAide, you will help our staff continue to support our programming.

*At the present time, delegations to El Salvador are on hold due to COVID-19 restrictions.

SalvAide supports solidarity with the people of El Salvador through specific program areas. Our work aims to directly accompany the struggle for social justice in El Salvador and to build Canadian awareness about the Salvadoran reality and Canadian government and business policies that impact upon that reality. All the initiatives we support are community driven, deeply democratic, and strive for gender equity. From cooperative cashew farming to helping to build participatory municipal gender equity guidelines, our partners' work is a model for sustainable democratic development in El Salvador, the only option for a future based on fairness and human rights.
