Ana Osorio Memorial Fund

This fund honours the memory of Ana Osorio, former SalvAide Director and Administrator.

Ana joined the solidarity movement for El Salvador at the beginning of the 1980s when it was most needed. Bright and outgoing, Ana was instrumental in establishing and strengthening SalvAide’s Twin Community Program as well as in guiding many Canadian exposure delegations.

To date both initiatives remain important components of SalvAide’s programming and contribute to Ana’s determination to accompany Salvadorans as they work for greater social justice. It is a direct result of Ana’s commitment to El Salvador that many Canadians have been inspired to become agents of change.

As per Ana's own wishes, the fund will support youth leadership and gender equity initiatives in El Salvador, program areas at the heart of SalvAide's work.
